COKE and Santa Claus

This Billboard of Santa Claus with Coke is found all over Araneta Center in Cubao QC while this huge billboard is in Quezon Avenue, also in QC...

Santa Claus - Coke's Symbol for Christmas.

I dont know how true this is... but I heard somewhere that Santa's first Suit was GREEN. It was changed to RED to match the color RED of a famous softdrink.

But one thing is sure - that famous softdrink is got to be Coca-cola..!

ICON ( 2 )

Would you say 'NO' if Ely is infront of you and offering you a Coke?

The QUICK beats the DILIGENT (Raise the Roof part 2)

I did not expect that the ‘RAISE THE ROOF' Blog Entree will have a second part.

Last Wednesday (10/28/09), as I passed by Mercado Subdivision along Tagaytay-Balibago Highway in Sta Rosa Laguna, I was shocked to see the building with the red roof is now tinted with blue color! The big Coca cola that was beautifully painted on the red roof is now gone.

The up side of this story is I was able to record it before they change the color. If I postponed my picture-taking for couple of weeks more, I would have missed it forever. Truly, the Quick beats the Diligent.

PRIZED SHOT

The price I have to pay for this picture…

As I get off the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) train in Guadalupe Station, I quickly grab my camera from my bag. Carefully, I aim at this massive billboard and swiftly took a number of shots! This Coke Litro Billboard stands enormous in the corner of EDSA and Pasig River. The only way to get an eye level shot is inside the MRT station.

True enough, a couple of minutes later, I am being whistled at by the security guard. NO PICTURE TAKING INSIDE THE MRT PREMISES.

The next train arrived. The train’s door open in front of me, I went inside as if nothing happened.

RAISE THE ROOF

The Owners of this establishment probably love Coca-cola so much (or earn so much from Coke?) that they tinted their roof RED and painted it with COCA-COLA emblem.

All stores and eateries under this roof sell cokes.
